Located in the heart of the historic Liberties, against the backdrop of a city steeped in wh***ey history, the Teeling Wh***ey Distillery opened its doors in 2015 as the first new distillery in Dublin for over 125 years. Since opening, the Teeling Distillery has won over 20 awards, including “Best Visit in Ireland” at the 2019 CIE Awards and “Sustainable Distillery of the Year” at the 2022 Icons of Wh**ky Awards.
They are renowned for their vision of doing things differently. Their wh***eys embody this unconventional spirit, with innovation at the core of everything they do. For them, it’s what’s inside the bottle that counts – they let the liquid do the talking, and their liquid has plenty to say.
The delicate base of Irish wh***ey is the perfect canvas upon which to layer flavour and character. Varying the time, style and number of barrels used during the maturation process adds to the subtlety and complexity of flavour they pride ourselves on. Now that they have their own Dublin distilled spirit coming of age, their ingenuity is the only limitation to the unique styles and expressions they can craft in the future.
After putting all this care and attention to what goes into their wh***ey, they don’t like to take anything out. They don’t chill filter their wh***ey prior to bottling, letting them leave as much of the body, character and richness in the bottle as possible. They bring their wh***ey from cask strength to their signature ABV of 46%, allowing them to bottle with no chill filtration, maintaining the true natural character of all Teeling Wh***eys.
