🇺🇸We will be open Saturday, July 4th, from 9:00-12:00.

After 45 years of smoke, sweat, and sawdust — it was time.

This old smokehouse has been the heartbeat of Country Butcher since the beginning. And honestly longer than we have been alive (installed in 1982). Every batch of bacon, every link of sausage, every holiday ham that made it to your table passed through that box. It didn’t just make product. It built this place, and honestly, it built us.

She has finally earned her retirement.

But the smoke never stops here. Same brand of oven, same soul, same wood smoke. Now with the kind of controls that let us do even more of what we do best. The new house is ready and smoking, and we can’t wait for you to taste what comes next…just in time for a few thousand pounds of Yuba-Sutter Fair hams and bacons.

Here’s to 45 more years!
