Hello y’all, we would like to introduce ourselves and our new (first ever) business!! We are Erin and Ryan Thompson and today is our “Grand Opening” of Tin Can Storage. We are a self-storage business located at 13638 CR 452 next to Mickey’s Tire Shop. I know, I know, another Storage Business! But not too long ago when we ourselves needed storage in the Lindale area, we had a hard time finding any vacant units, so we figured there must be a need for it. It took some doing, but we are now here to help! Also, our units are a bit unconventional as they are all shipping containers. This means they are super secure and sealed. Sealed as in no bugs, critters, or snakes can get into these units. Not even ants! They are also guaranteed wind and waterproof! Each unit is 8ft wide, 20ft deep, and 8ft tall. 20 units are currently available to rent. We are still in the process of getting these units fully painted but understand that some families and companies can’t wait. So, we are opening early as a discounted rate for the first three months through December. We are calling it “AS THE PAINT DRIES SPECIAL.” Units are available for your residential or commercial storage needs. If you are a local business or contractor, we can help with your logistics during these unprecedented times of material shortages and long lead times. Order your materials early and store them securely until ready to install. Landscaper…and need a place to store your equipment during the off season? Moving and in between homes? Or just need a place to put grandmas doll collection? Please call us!
Our Plan/Vision: Tin Can Storage is a small part of the Tin Can Ranch which we are currently building (slowly). We hope to grow Tin Can Storage to house 80 shipping containers and eventually 50 boat and RV storage spaces (covered) with power hook-ups, over the next 5 years. Also, our 3 to 5 year plan for Tin Can Ranch is to open a small luxurious RV Park for weekend and seasonal travelers. Emphasis on LUXURIOUS! No RV Parking Lot here! We want people to come and enjoy our land and relax/vacation. Not destroy the land and views just to make a simple buck. Tin Can RV Park will have a Wine Boutique with food, Gift Shop, Event Barn, and possibly a Spa. Each site will have a concrete parking and RV pad, private fire pit, binzebo, raised porch, and exterior lighting, with all the hook-ups. We plan to host local charity events, weddings, company parties, birthdays, etc… in the Event Barn. Tin Can RV will have a community Fire Pit and Smoke House to help people gather and visit. And finally, our 5 to 7 year plan is to have renovated vintage camper trailers (example: vintage Airstream, Boles Areo, and Spartan travel trailers) on property for weekend rentals. We plan for these to be boujee and include outdoor kitchens and separate bath houses, and possibly outdoor pools. If we could snap our fingers and make all that happen now, we would! But unfortunately, it will take us some time (years) to make our dreams of the Tin Can Ranch come to life! It will be a lot of hard work, but we are determined to make our dream come true! We love Lindale and hope the Tin Can Ranch will add to Lindale’s quaint and beautiful community. So, for now, all we can offer is Phase 1 of our plan, and that is Tin Can Storage to help with any of your storage needs.
