🎂 Day 3 of Grammy's Happy Oven Baking Camp was full of learning, laughter, and lots of buttercream!

Today the bakers learned some of the most important cake decorating skills! They carefully leveled their cakes, applied their very first crumb coat, and practiced piping techniques to build confidence with decorating.

Of course, we also took a break for some Minute to Win It baking games—there was lots of cheering, laughter, and friendly competition!

Our Bible verse today was 1 Peter 4:10: “God has given each of you special gifts. Use them to help and serve others.”

We talked about how God gives each of us unique gifts and talents. Whether it's baking, encouraging others, helping a friend, or simply sharing kindness, every gift can be used to serve Him and bless those around us.

We can't wait for Day 4! 🍰✨

Day 2 at Grammy’s Happy Oven Baking Camp was full of joy, laughter, and lots of shining lights!

Today’s Bible verse was:

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

We talked about how God wants each of us to shine by showing kindness, helping others, and sharing His love wherever we go.

☀️ The campers created the cutest Snow cone and beach inspired cupcakes for colorful summer treats!

💃 We had a blast dancing and singing to “Let Your Light Shine”

🎨 Then we headed outside for some sidewalk chalk fun, filling the driveway with colorful creations and encouraging messages.

🫧 And of course, part of being a great baker is cleaning up! Our campers worked together washing dishes and helping each other with cheerful hearts. Teamwork is one more way we let our light shine!

Day 1 of Grammy’s Happy Oven Baking Camp was a sweet success!

Today we made our very own individually styled cookies while learning an important lesson from Colossians 3:17:

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus."

We talked about how baking isn't just about mixing ingredients—it's about using our gifts, serving others, and doing our best in everything we do. The girls worked hard, had fun, and created some delicious cookies to take home and share!

I’m so proud of these sweet bakers and can't wait to see what we create together the rest of the week. Thank you, parents, for sharing your children with me!

One of my favorite parts of baking is getting to be a small part of life’s special moments.

I had the honor of creating this cake to celebrate a very sweet gentleman’s 85th birthday. If you’ve ever met him, you know his kind smile and warm spirit light up every room he enters.

Milestone birthdays are such a gift—85 years of memories, family, friendships, and a life well lived. I am so thankful I could help make the celebration a little sweeter.
