So many great questions about our brooding service, I love it!!
1) We do not use lights as a heat source, only brooding plates in brooding boxes.
2) We only take in 16 or less chicks at a time per household so they have plenty of space to move around without stepping on one another
3) It is your choice if we do medicatednon-medicated or organic feed
3) We off a probiotic water 2 times a wk along with other healthy treats to prevent sticky butt
4) We will interact with your babies throughout the day if you would like us too
5) The #1 question of all: How we tell your babies from another’s is by these bands that we will put on their left foot as they arrive and are warm. We also log their brooder number and we only remove them briefly to clean the brooder. At that time they all go into a crate together and are not mixed with any others. We keep them out long enough for the dust to settle and then put them back!
