Many of you know I survived two bouts of Stage IV head and neck cancer. For those who don't — I woke up one morning with a 7-centimeter tumor in my neck, followed a year later by a cancerous lesion on my tongue. I endured aggressive chemotherapy, 33 days of radiation, lost nearly half my tongue, underwent major reconstructive surgery, and had the lymph nodes in my neck removed.

Now, the radiation that saved my life is destroying my teeth. They are disintegrating, and it's only a matter of time before they are all gone.

The only path forward is a full mouth restoration — and I need help, plain and simple.

Even a small contribution makes a difference. If you can't, the single most valuable thing you can do is share this page with your friends, family, and social networks. One share can reach someone who wants to help but doesn't know I need it.

After the chemo, the radiation, the surgeries, and the feeding tubes — I am still here. Still grateful. Still fighting.

Imagine losing all your teeth. That's what's happening to me. To all my culinary friends and colleagues here: I need a little help.
