We’ve been bouncing ideas and dreams off of for the better part of 20 years now; the original believer in 27A, the creative hands behind all of our designs and merchandise (every piece!). It’s been pretty damn cool to watch it all come to life over the years.
When he came to us with the idea of we didn’t think twice about being a supporter of it. Naturally, a beer was the next thing to come to commemorate its launch - which ended up being one of the most complicated and interesting (and delicious) beers we’ve ever brewed.
Bali Hai Life is a beer inspired by our shared love of all things tiki, a trip to out west, and many many hours spent together at Gilgo Beach. A true collaborative effort with a proprietary blend of rum provided by that we aged on oak, finished with cold brew coffee. Along with a pineapple finish, it is unexpectedly crushable and refreshing - and definitely reminiscent of one of the more complex tiki cocktails that inspired it, Mr. Bali Hai.
We’re so beyond proud of our best friend for bringing one of his many dreams to life and are forever grateful to everyone who came out and celebrated the launch of Beach Rat last week with us 🧡
