🐔 How it started & How it's going 🐔

I don't know if you've read our story (link in comments), but we got our start producing pasture-raised chicken in Atlanta with the help and support of a very, very special family. This weekend it was our tremendous pleasure to be able to visit with (most of) the Fisers here at our new farm!

First, we got to meet the two precious additions since our New Hope Farms GA days. Then we went on a farm tour where Ryan demonstrated our updated chicken tractor design, and everyone got to snuggle some chicks and baby goats.

It was such a blessing to sort of "pick up where we left off"- the kids having a blast in the backyard and treehouse; the moms catching up on all the things over iced coffee. We will cherish these memories and are already looking forward to the next time! ❤

To wind up our 2026 , first freshener "Amiga" gave us one biggun: a buckling we're calling 💚 "Moose" cause he came in at a whopping 11.7lbs! 😲

Sadly, we just missed the birth, but our dear visitors still had an opportunity to snuggle some of the other babies. 🥰

All in all, we wound up with 15 kids from 7 does. We'll probably end up making another stats post later, but for now we're going to bed. 😴 Thanks for following along on our farming journey!

😢 A little weird this morning to wake up to a grandparent-less house... 😢

Since the 17th, we've grandparents on hand to help with baby checks, poultry packaging, the Painted Post Farmers' Market , and other activities (of varying levels of fun 😅).

We're thankful for all their love and support on our farming journey! ❤️
