Our apple picking season with tons of Apples has come to an end!
So if you"re driving from a long distance you'll be disappointed.
You will be able to pick enough for a pie or two and some to eat, but the take home bag will be limited. Thank's for enjoying the crop of delicious apple the Lord aloud us to have this year.
This Saturday will be our last day of apple picking season, our hours will be 9am until 2pm.
While many of you have picked our apples, you should know the birds have been robustly doing the same. We do have a fresh batch of our sweet cider available for sale.

We made some cider today and in one batch we included our ripening pears for pear-apple cider. We'll have this ready for you on this Saturday. From 9 to 3.

Who's ready to make some memories? We will be open for apple picking this Friday (August 22) from 5 to 7 pm.and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Some Apple cider will be available for $7 a quart. See you there!

We will be open for apple picking this Friday Aug. 8 from 4 PM-7 PM and Saturday Aug. 9 from 9:30 AM to 2 PM. We have early, summer apples which we recommend using for applesauce

An Apple Orchard update.
We are in the process of cleaning up the orchards and preparing the trees to get ready for winter.
Ruthie and I are saddened that we didn't have much apple production this year. The two late frosts reduced our crop by about 70%. Added to that we had a massive bug invasion. So we set to work turning the few apples we had into sweet cider, 100 quarts and gave it away.
We did plant several new trees, honey crisps, golden delicious and Cortland. They're off to a good start.
But missed your visit and the joy of having you share your life and family with us. Do pray with us that we can develope a freeze protection process that kicks in the nights when frost is expected. Any ideas you could contribute would be good to hear.
