s for the benefit of all. I purchased a 70 acre farm in Linneus, Maine in 1987 with the intention of building a house and starting a farm. It didn't happen; instead I got married and started an engineering business. In 2014, I turned 60, and decided I best get on with it! So I started turning over the 26 acres of hay field and creating a plan for a four year organic crop rotation. In 2015, construction began on a new farm building for equipment, processing, and a small space for my office (I still have my engineering business). Construction continued through 2016, and my office and processing room will be occupied by the end of December. I hired Megan as a farm assistant / protégée in June of 2016, and we have managed to grow 5 acres of barley and a small patch of mixed vegetables this year with good results. All of our products are certified organic by MOFGA, and there will be a major growth in our product line in 2017. Going into 2017, we expect to be growing and marketing, both locally and nationally:

Fresh Vegetables, including onions, squash, and various root vegetables
