🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Rolling Hills Springs! 🇺🇸

There is something special about the Fourth of July.

Today, millions of Americans will gather with family and friends for parades, ballgames, cookouts, fireworks, camping trips, days on the lake, and time spent making memories with the people they love. It is a day to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and to be thankful for the countless men and women who have served our nation so that those freedoms would endure.

To every veteran, active-duty service member, first responder, and your families, we thank you. Your sacrifice has made America the greatest nation in the world, and we are forever grateful.

As you head out today, chances are there will be a bottle of water in your hand or a case of water riding along in the back seat. Staying hydrated has become part of the American lifestyle, and for good reason. In fact, bottled water has been the most-consumed packaged beverage in America for several years, surpassing soft drinks as more families choose a healthier way to stay refreshed.

At Rolling Hills Springs, we areproud to play a small part in that. Every bottle filled with our natural spring water represents a simple choice…one that’s good for hydration, contains no sugar, no calories, and no artificial ingredients.

Many people are also surprised to learn that a typical bottled water container uses significantly less PET plastic than a comparable soda bottle because it doesn’t have to withstand carbonation pressure.

Today, we are especially thankful for the hardworking people behind the scenes…our employees, our vendor partners, and the professional truck drivers who are spending part of their holiday making sure families across America have the products they depend on. Your dedication often goes unnoticed, but it never goes unappreciated.

Rolling Hills Springs would like to remind everyone to take time today to honor Juneteenth. On this day in 1865, two and a half years following the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas finally received word of their freedom. Today is a celebration of Black resilience and an important reminder of the historical trauma of chattel slavery and the promise of "liberty and justice for all".

🐟 Get Trout of here!! 🐟 ⁉ Did you know that many cold-water fish hatcheries use natural springs as their water sources? ⁉

🌡 Most cold-water fish eggs require temperatures to be below 68° F. Trout eggs require temperatures to be between 50-55° F. Natural springs have proven to have many advantages for these types of hatcheries as they are inexpensive, maintain constant temperatures, typically have few contaminates and may not require any type of pump. 💧
