This Farmerette is traveling in Alaska. Farmer Ken is back from Alaska and is working the garden. Corn and tomatoes are coming in at full force. Still to warm to enjoy the garden 100%

Seeing the dentist on Thursday for crown prep- she said I’d have to make another appointment to assess a tooth ache, so following Thursday I did- confirmed it was an abscess, and started antibiotics- Friday I have a small bump on my jaw line- Saturday as it grew I called emergency dental line- stay the coarse and let the antibiotics work. Ok, Sunday am things look better , however still painful. On the mend.

It’s official! Pickles have taken over my garden/kitchen!
So far dill and sweet pickles
Dill sweet and sweet hot relish
Sweet hot pickles are today
I’ve also done up some turnips
And mini pumpkins are ready to be picked.
I may or may not have given up on zucchini- if you wants some let me know
Also- blanching and freezing broccoli and green beans.

WOW! Tomatoes took a hit with the smoke, so no new fruit. Cucumbers and pickles are crazy and keeping me busy.
So far- 3qrts, 8 pints, 3 half pints: it’s just the beginning.
Jase enjoyed visiting a friends baby pigs, and all her animals!!!
Good times this summer
