Well, I made my ducks their own house...but after a week they insist on sleeping with the 4 youngest chickens I brooded them with. A big plus is when my extra large chickens try to put the kiddos (who are smaller breeds to begin with) in the pecking order the ducks come over and give them a good thwack with their bills like some weird street gang and even send my huge jersey giant rooster packing.

Thankfully the coop is *way* more than big enough for them to find some clean ground space to call their own. Guess the duckhouse will be a predator and weather safe house.

My tomato math is as good as my chicken math... I committed to grow less tomatoes this year and now I have 36 plants.

I always hated subtraction.
