Started a batch of Black-Briar mead inspired by the Elder Scrolls cookbook. I've wanted to tackle an Elder Scrolls mead for a long time. I'm confident in my adjustments on this recipe over the cookbook.

Both the Savannah Bee and other tupelo meads are done. It was a fun experiment trying to same type of honey from two places on a like for like recipe. There's variations in everything from the color to the clarity to the taste impressions. I intend to do a sourwood shootout soon.

Despite no content for almost two months I HAVE been very busy. Traveling and researching and acquiring different honeys. Lots of traditionals coming up including alfalfa blossom, Colorado wildflower, and black locust and sourwood from North Carolina. I have two types of sourwood and intend to do a shootout like with the tupelo which had surprising results.
