Remember the 30-year-old embryos that Dr. Lisa thawed and implanted last June?...

Recap: In March of 2023, Dr. Lisa followed her lifelong passion and attended a week-long course to learn embryo transfer and conventional flushing in cattle. To practice her skills, she needed to transfer actual embryos. The problem was, that embryos are expensive, so she didn't want to risk wasting her client's money while she practiced. Luckily, one client had embryos in his tank for almost 30 years. These 3 decade-old embryos were not being used and he offered them for practice.

Dr. Lisa transferred 4 of the 30-year-old embryos in June of 2023. 2 of the 4 embryos were implanted. 1 of the 2 was unfortunately a stillborn. But 1 beautiful miraculous 30-year-old calf was born in March of 2024. After 30 years frozen in time, this beauty finally gets to stretch her legs. And yeah, you read that right, she's a heifer!
