Rocky Ridge Organic Dairy Farm We are a second generation family-owned dairy farm located in Litchfield Maine. MOFGA certified Our growing herd consist of both milking Short-horns & Holsteins.

Rocky Ridge Organic Farm has been operating as a dairy since the 1950's. We currently ship our certified organic milk to Horizon Organics. In addition to dairy, the farm has produced meat from various livestock through out the years (beef & pork) & sells on a local level when available.

We are SO happy to announce that we now carry in our farm store freezers our very own pasture raised chicken. Our chickens were rotated daily on fresh pasture right here on the farm. They’ve been mostly fed a mix of non-GMO & organic feed, greenery and bugs. We are mighty proud to add these into the mix of things we offer here.

🌾⭐️🌾Announcement🌾⭐️🌾

We will be offering fresh loaves every Tuesday and Friday until further notice. We will also be offering frozen bread at a reduced price for the bread that didn’t sell within 48 hours after it was brought out. Why? Like everything, nutrients will decrease the older it gets. HOWEVER, a wheat berry locks in optimal nutrients until it is broken open which is why we wait to mill our grain until the day we are ready to bake. (Now think about that store-bought flour and ask yourself how fresh & nutrient deficient it really is 🫣) Freshly milled flour even at two days old still far surpasses the nutrient level of conventional/commercially-processed flour, so you can still reap the countless benefits that come from it. The inside of your bodies will still be doing cartwheels seeing all the valuable nutrients coming in! 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️🤸

We still do have plenty of ground beef, beef sausages, tenderloin, stew meat to keep you going! All our meat in the store comes from our certified organic herd raised right here on the farm.

From wheat berry, to flour, to delicious nutrient packed bread. 🌾

Nothing is taken away (plethora of nutrients that is normally taken out of conventional flour through the sifting process of the bran & germ) or artificially added (synthetic vitamins, dough conditioners, preservatives, etc) to this powerhouse bread. It’s what we like to call REAL bread. 💪🏻 We’ve added regular whole wheat loaves to the store today to get you started on your real bread story.

I’m still strategizing what will work best for a baking schedule but to start, the goal will be to put out fresh loaves twice a week. (I was thinking Tuesday & either Thursday or Friday…) Go ahead and comment below and give me your opinion on which days you think you’d be more apt to pick up a fresh loaf.
