Uuuummmm… I think the universe and my stomach are telling me it’s time to go back to London. Yesterday it’s as scones me clotted cream, day it’s Welsh Rarebit. I used one of my favorite aged cheese from Amsterdam mixed with little Gouda. This hit the spot!

Good morning everyone!!! Happy Saturday 😊. I love an early morning baking session. A couple of days ago I tried my hand at homemade clotted cream and it did not disappoint. This morning I made homemade cranberry scones to pair with it for breakfast. I find my day just is so much more balanced when I start off early with prayer, coffee, and whatever else I wanna do. Most mornings it’s either reading or baking lol. These scones need some homemade preserves. One of my next ventures is learning how to properly can and preserve food. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I’ll be sure to let you all know what else I’m cooking up this weekend 😉

I just had to come share!!! So after our move I’ve been dreading organizing my pantry. I can’t thank my mom and aunt enough for helping me tackle this project. They definitely saved me some hair, stress and a lot of tears 🤣 this is most of my spice collection. I still have some left to put in glass jars but this is such a big help! This will last me until I get my spice cabinet built 🥰

Today I have PT 😒😩🙄. We have definitely been working a lot harder to get me ready to go back to work and it just takes so much out of me. I try to have a nice filling breakfast so when I come home a go to sleep at least I will still be full 😂. Today o fried up some corn tortillas and topped them with refried beans, over easy eggs, raw white onions and sliced radish. I didn’t have any jalapeños and my cilantro died in the refrigerator so I gave it all the lights sprinkle of jalapeño powder. I started eating and realized I forgot the cheese lol. Maybe next time.

Which hot sauce would you pick to finish this meal? I tried a bite with each of them and decided to go with the green chili habanero sauce, and the other one I decided to switch it up and went with the Tapatio.

I made the decision a while ago to make as much from scratch at home. French style butter has proven to be a true labor of love. I no longer buy store bought butter! Each batch takes a minimum of 26 hours to make. Yes I said it… 26 hours and that’s not including my own labor. I look at it as an investment in my family’s health. Over time, I want to continue to try and perfect other homemade grocery store staples to cut out as many heavily processed foods as possible for my family and our guest 🥰

Good morning everyone!!!its been a busy morning already, my son’s snack bar and fridge have been restocked, my mom and I painted 2 end tables and now it’s time for a little breakfast before physical therapy. I came across some olive oil poached eggs and I had to try it. 10/10! I topped mine with black truffle sea salt, cracked black pepper, red pepper flakes, fresh chives and a little fresh basil
