We will no longer be breeding Isabel/wheaten ameraucanas or Narragansett turkeys. So, I have a breeding flock of ameraucanas: 3 wheaten split hens, 1 isabel hen and an isabel rooster.
And a breeding flock or turkeys 3 hens and 1 Tom. I also have 3 growout Jake's and 1 Jenny from this past season. Located in Lithia-Fort Lonesome.

I let some Delicata squash go bad last year. So, I gave it to the pigs to enjoy. It looks like I'll be enjoying it now.

I have a lot of birds looking for new coops. Mostly pullets from February and March growouts. 4 narragansett turkeys around 4 months old. I know for sure 3 Jake's. Creme legbar pullets (blue eggers) 4-6 months old. I'll be posting more tomorrow and later today as I sort and make decisions.

Four days of goat's milk. We can only drink so much. I'm going to freeze some. What do you think I should make first?

Find yourself a Bob. Just, not my Bob. I told him I was picking up these beautiful ladies on Thursday. I was worried about coyotes. So, he came home Wendlesday night from work and closed in an open shelter that we had.

Lost 2 of these to a racoon last night. Tried to put them on the roost. Got 5 on then 1 off. I think I have 12 of 17 0n. I guess they are on their own.
