This year, we’re spotlighting Ryan Cerney, who is leading the new Veterans Group at Trilliant. The group was created to build a network of individuals with shared experiences, strengthen relationships across the organization, and give back to the community. ❤
"The purpose of the group is to create a sense of belonging that strengthens engagement and morale across the organization. Veterans bring skills like leadership, problem-solving, and a strong work ethic, all qualities that support career growth and mentoring. And as we grow, these connections can even help us recruit other talented veterans to join the team,” Ryan adds.
Additionally, building a network outside the organization is critical to building strong communities. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities in the community that help build strong relationships between veterans and the local community. “From serving food at local shelters to participating in highway cleanups, these activities help both the community and us feel good. Many veterans seek these opportunities after leaving the service as a way to continue giving back,” Ryan shares.
