When you get into growing figs there is so much information out there it seems almost overwhelming at first but once you get into it and find the things that work for you and for your environment you don't realize how confident and proficient you become.
Will mistakes still happen? Of course! As the saying goes you don't learn if you don't make mistakes but always remember figs are very forgiving.
So as you start your fig journey, enjoy it, ask questions... you know we are here to help the best we can.
And remember...
"The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second-best time is now."

You forget how much work getting your garden in order to start the season is...
On top of that we will be using our new greenhouse for the first time once we have it finished..
You want it done quick, fast and in a hurry..
But the one thing that I'm reminded of is that we need to be patient, if I've learned nothing else from figs I've learned patience. It truly is a virtue and pays off in the end.
And to that patience I've waited years for our Sensation Lilac to bloom and it did this year for the first time, it's been 3 or 4 years but it was truly worth the wait.
Isn't she beautiful.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
There is nothing like growing your own figs.
We brought our first batch of trees to Lee's today, more will be coming for the next few months.

We love our figs that is obvious but we also love our strawberries as well!
What does over 300 strawberry plants look like?
Kind of like this! Lol
We love all our perennial fruits!
