🇺🇸🦅 AN EVENING WITH AN AMERICAN WARRIOR — NORM “HOOT” HOOTEN 🦅🇺🇸
🥃 This isn’t just another bottle signing.
🇺🇸 This is an opportunity to meet a man who spent more than 20 years serving our country, including years serving within the U.S. Army Special Forces community. 🎖️🪖
📅 On SEPTEMBER 4TH Friday , Lucky’s Liquor is incredibly proud to welcome Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Norm “Hoot” Hooten. 🇺🇸🦅
🎖️ For those who may not know his story, Norm served with the 5th Special Forces Group and went on to serve for many years in some of the U.S. military’s most demanding special operations assignments, participating in missions around the world. 🌎🇺🇸
But one mission would become part of American military history. 🇺🇸📖
⚔️ On October 3, 1993, Norm was a team leader on the ground during the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia.
🇺🇸 The brutal battle lasted into the following day. American soldiers fought through overwhelming conditions to protect one another and bring their brothers home. 🪖🤝
🎬 The courage and sacrifice of those men would later be told to millions around the world through the book and movie BLACK HAWK DOWN.
🎖️ And the legendary Special Operations soldier known as “Hoot,” portrayed by Eric Bana in the movie🇺🇸
🇺🇸 THAT MAN IS NORM HOOTEN. 🇺🇸
But what makes Norm’s story even more incredible is what happened AFTER the battlefield. 🦅
After more than two decades in the military, Norm saw another battle affecting the men he had served beside — veterans struggling with pain, addiction, and substance abuse. 🇺🇸
So he chose to SERVE AGAIN. ❤️🤍💙
🎓 He went back to school, earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and went on to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs, helping fellow veterans facing some of the same struggles that had taken the lives of people he knew and loved. 🩺🇺🇸
Think about that for a moment. 💭
🪖 He served his country on the battlefield.
🇺🇸 Then he came home and continued serving the men and women who wore the uniform.
🎖️ That is service.
🤝 That is brotherhood.
🇺🇸 That is an American story worth honoring.
🥃 Today, Norm is also one of the men behind Hooten Young Whiskey — a brand built around friendship, remembrance, brotherhood, and honoring those who served. 🇺🇸🦅
🔥🔥 AND ON SEPTEMBER 4TH, YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET HIM RIGHT HERE AT LUCKY’S LIQUOR! 🔥🔥
