“HOW are you drinking RAW MILK?! 😱”
— says the same person who just skipped through Kroger, grabbed a celery stalk, rubbed it on their jeans, licked it for quality control, and snorted a line of cilantro straight from the produce bin.

Here’s the fun part:
they can carry the same potential bacteria.

The difference?
That milk came from a farmer who spent five solid minutes scrubbing those teats like Grandma scrubbing her baseboards before Thanksgiving dinner.
Hot water. Clean towels. Zero shortcuts.

Meanwhile, that celery?
Irrigation water of unknown origin.
Handled by dozens of people.
Packed in a facility you’ve never seen.
And definitely not wiped down like it was about to meet the family.

Farm Fact Friday!

Calves are baby cows, weighing 60–100 lbs at birth, and are able to stand and nurse within an hour. They are born without an immune system and rely on immediate ingestion of antibody-rich colostrum. Female calves are called heifers and males are bulls, with a 9-month gestation period similar to humans. They drink about a gallon of milk daily and begin weaning onto grass/grain around 6–10 months. Calves are highly social herd animals that enjoy playing, jumping, and chasing each other. They are also creatures of habit, thriving on routine. While rare, twins can occur in less than 5% of births.
