Meet Jason, an 18-year-old entrepreneur who launched his clothing brand Freshmen Ent as a freshman in high school. His vision was simple but powerful: for students to proudly wear clothing created by kids in their own community.

Zoe’ began her entrepreneurship journey at just 6 years old with a vision far bigger than herself. From day one, she’s had a heart for bringing other kids along with her, she’s been a team player since the moment she entered this world.

I didn’t come from a family of entrepreneurs. Everyone I knew worked hard, but none of us had walked the path of business ownership. So when Zoe came to me with her idea, I had no blueprint, no mentor, and no guide. Just faith, a little girl's dream, and the determination to figure it out as we went.

Zoe’s creativity, resilience, and bright spirit gave us more than a business. It gave us hope. Her lemonade stand didn’t just sell drinks it saved our family from homelessness. Because of the community’s support, we went from living in a shelters and family to keys in hand. .

The 43rd Annual Wrightsville Day Parade, Festivities & Fireworks has officially invited the Children’s Business Fair to host a Kids Zone on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to Sunset and we want YOUR young entrepreneur to be a part of it! 💼✨

We have 10 vendor spaces reserved for youth entrepreneurs ages 6–18 who are ready to showcase their products, services, and creativity at this amazing community celebration!

They came for my business fair kids over taxes and licensing… so I did what any mama on a mission would do — drafted a bill to change the law. 🙌🏾

Coming soon to Arkansas:
📌 Student Entrepreneurs under 18 will be able to form a Single-Member Student LLC,
📌 Operate at youth business fairs, and
📌 Be exempt from sales taxes, filing fees, and franchise taxes!

This youth empowerment bill will be championed by Representative Joyce Springer and Representative Tracy Steele, and…

🗓️ July will officially be named Arkansas Acton Children’s Business Fair Month by proclamation from the Governor — with my daughter Zoe’ being honored at the Capitol! 😭🙌🏾💪🏾
