Green Groceries Program

Green Groceries Program Green Groceries is a ministry of Christ Episcopal Church in Little Rock, AR. This increases accessibility to healthy foods and supports local farmers.

Green Groceries has a two-fold mission: to provide fresh food (like vegetables, fruit, meat, and eggs) for a family AND to support the local growers we purchase from. We purchase fresh produce, meat, and eggs from local Arkansas growers and give them to Little Rock families in need.

This afternoon volunteers helped participants fill their grocery bags with locally grown turnips, turnip greens, collards, eggs, sweet potatoes, frozen ground beef, squash, pinto beans, and blueberries.
