Fun day brewing my CAF Pro-Am competition winning Schwarzbier with the awesome brewers at ! Later that night we were on a local radio beer show “Tap Time” and talked about dark lager, non-alcoholic brews, and fun trends in both homebrewing and commercial brewing! Cheers to , my dear homebrew club, for the opportunities to win comps and brew with the Pros!

Little Rocktoberfest brews are sleeping/conditioning for the big event coming up on October 11th! This year I've put everything I've ever learned about brewing on the table to make two technical beers I'm pretty proud of. First, I've made a simple dry-hopped pale ale with added "Pineapple Express" terpenes. Second beer is a clone of New Belgium's "Dominga" which is a grapefruit fruited beer "paloma-style." To achieve this I've added a secondary pitch of Philly Sour and also added 6oz of Grapefruit puree directly to the serving keg. They're both quite weird and tasty! The third beer I'll have is an English IPA I co-brewed with Gravity Brewworks a couple months ago. See y'all on the 11th!

I had the pleasure to brew with Bill and Tony at Gravity BrewWorks this weekend. We brewed “Ends of Invention” English IPA, the style they chose for the June Pro-am competition! I love winning these pro-am’s so I can learn from the professional brewers. I’ll have a keg of this beer to serve at Little Rocktoberfest in October!

English IPA Brewday! Also, I've got a new/used Keezer up and running so I'm able to lager and condition beer appropriately. This IPA will be available at the Historic Hop-Off at the Historic Arkansas Museum on July 11th!
