Soft opening for Loca Luna was simply amazing!
The refreshed interior strikes the perfect balance between old and new. The warm wood tones and updated seating give the space the facelift it needed while still preserving the family feel that has made Loca Luna a Little Rock favorite for decades. The bar area is welcoming, spacious, and destined to remain a gathering spot for Little Rockians.
Now, the food.
Everything we had was exceptional. My filet was cooked exactly as ordered, and my dining companions were equally impressed with their selections. Every dish felt thoughtful, polished, and worthy of the occasion.
The service was equally impressive. Had we not known this was their first dinner service, we never would have guessed. Neomi and Miranda elevated the entire experience with recommendations that came with genuine enthusiasm and specific reasons they loved each dish and drink—not just a simple “it’s my favorite.”
And the desserts... swoon.
No, we did not have room for dessert. Yes, we ordered the Basque cheesecake anyway because we knew it would be amazing with involved. The cheesecake was outstanding, and the shortbread alongside it was unforgettable. I’ll be dreaming about both until my next visit.
In short (ha!), Loca Luna feels ready for its next 30 years. Fidel and his team have done something special, honoring the traditions that made Loca Luna beloved while thoughtfully taking it to the next level.
