“Compost is great. But these 5 amendments take your soil from good to great. 🌱

→ Biochar: charcoal sponge that lasts 100+ years
→ Worm castings: living biology in a bag
→ Rock phosphate: long-game phosphorus
→ Greensand: marine minerals + clay fixer
→ Gypsum: calcium without changing pH

You don’t need all 5 every year. Pick 1-2 based on what your soil actually needs and build from there.

Save this. Long-game soil = better gardens for decades. Wicked Organics — link in bio. 🌱”

“Compost is the foundation of every healthy garden — and most people are using it wrong. 🌱

→ How much: 1-2”” per year on existing beds. 3-4”” on new beds.
→ When: Spring before planting + fall after harvest.
→ How: TOP-DRESS. Don’t till it in. Worms do the work.
→ What to look for: dark color, earthy smell, crumbles in your hand.

Save this. Build your soil once a year and your plants do the rest. Wicked Organics OMRI-listed compost — link in bio. 🌱”

“Compost is just the beginning. 🌱

If you’re only top-dressing with compost every spring, you’re leaving real soil health on the table. The pros stack 5 amendments — and it makes a massive difference in how your beds perform.

→ Compost (the base)
→ Bone meal (slow phosphorus)
→ Kelp meal (trace minerals + stress protection)
→ Greensand (potassium + clay buster)
→ Biochar (carbon sponge for nutrients)

Save the stack. 5 amendments, every bed, every spring. Wicked Organics has all 5 — link in bio. 🌱”

“Liquid vs granular fertilizer — they’re not the same thing, and using the wrong one is why most people don’t see results. 💧

→ Granular = slow. Spread it, water it in, feeds for 4-8 weeks.
→ Liquid = fast. Mix, spray, plants drink it in hours.

Use granular for your spring base feed (lawns, trees, shrubs). Use liquid for transplant shock, mid-season boosts, and stressed plants.

PRO MOVE: Stack them. Granular for the foundation, liquid kelp for the boost.

Save this. Use the right format at the right time. Full Wicked Organics liquid + granular lineup — link in bio. 💧🌱”

“You can buy the best tomato variety on earth and still get a sad harvest if your soil is hungry. 🍅

Here’s the spring feeding plan we use on every vegetable bed — start it before transplant and you’ll be eating better tomatoes than your neighbor by July.

→ 1-2”” compost across the bed
→ Bone meal in every transplant hole
→ Side-dress 5-3-4 at week 3
→ Kelp meal at bloom for tomatoes & peppers
→ Light nitrogen for leafy greens every 2 weeks

Save the plan. Wicked Organics covers all 6 steps. Link in bio. 🌱”

“Here’s the move 99% of homeowners skip: feeding their trees. 🌳

A mature tree doesn’t need much — but in spring, before full leaf-out, the roots are wide awake and ready to absorb. This is the only window that really matters.

→ Feed at the DRIP LINE, not the trunk
→ Slow-release 5-3-4 or 10-10-10
→ Evergreens go earlier (late March)
→ Fruit trees need extra K at bloom

Save this. One feed in spring = healthier trees all year. Wicked Organics tree-safe lineup — link in bio. 🌳”

“You’ve stared at those 3 numbers on every fertilizer bag a thousand times. Here’s what they actually do. 🧪

→ N (Nitrogen) = leaves and stems. Green-up fuel.
→ P (Phosphorus) = roots, blooms, fruit. The underground builder.
→ K (Potassium) = strength and stress resistance.

Pick the right ratio for the job. High N for spring lawns. Balanced 5-3-4 for veggies. High P for transplants.

Save this. Read the bag before you buy. Full Wicked Organics NPK breakdown at the link in bio. 🌱”

“Stop feeding your plants on vibes. Feed them on a calendar. 📅

Most spring fertilizing fails because of timing — too early and the roots can’t absorb, too late and you’ve already lost the growth window. We mapped out exactly when to feed everything in your yard.

→ Lawn: late March to early April
→ Trees & shrubs: mid-April at the drip line
→ Perennials: late April to early May
→ Veg beds: mid-May at planting

Save the calendar. Feed on time. Wicked Organics has every bag on the list — link in bio. 🌱”
