Remember - these are made fresh to order. Check out the info below about what you might find in the store, especially places that import them from England:

“Average store-packaged hot cross buns are often mass-produced and frozen months in advance to manage high demand, with some appearing on shelves as early as Boxing Day (December 26th). While they are sold for months, many industrial, packaged versions are manufactured, frozen, and shipped to stores long before Easter. “

Do you really want to buy baked goods that have been frozen and probably have artificial preservatives in them?? Come check out fresh, delicious, homemade buns instead 😉

These are both advance order items ONLY this year - because I am not holding markets anymore, I will not be making these unless they are ordered. Evening all! Don’t you love this time of year? Palisade peaches, plums, cherries, apricots…. Thanks for all the orders the past few weeks - I love making treats for you all 🙂

Just a quick announcement that - as my hubby so beautifully put it - I will be “out for repairs” in August. I’m having neck surgery on August 5th and therefore will be out of commission for a few weeks. Thanks for your understanding - I’ll let you know when I’m back baking :)
