Bovella Dairy is a Colorado, woman owned, small business that sources high quality Organic milk from Colorado farms, ships it to their facility where they perform the process of removing the lactose themselves AND THEN they make delicious Lactose Free ice creams! It’s not easy taking the extra steps to source, process and produce but the owner Kat does it all! She is also very active in the efforts to help dairy farmers get the funding and support they need to thrive.

Farm Day at Grama Grass & Livestock

The Littleton Meats team had the opportunity to head up to Grama Grass Livestock this past Monday to meet the farmers and learn everything that goes into their pasture raised beef program. We also learned a lot into how their herd benefits the entire community with land regeneration and fire mitigation. On top of that we got the help herd some cows and ate the most delicious breakfast sandwiches made with their beef bacon. If you’re not familiar with Grama Grass, we highly recommend checking them out.

Colorado Fullblood Wagyu Bone-In NY Strips from Yampa Valley Ranch are available now. We’re happy to be working with Yampa Valley Ranch to showcase some of their high end Wagyu cuts for this Fathers Day weekend! This isn’t your normal Japanese Wagyu, these cows are raised up in altitude in the Yampa Valley. They are prairie raised on grass most their lives and then finished 180 days on grain. Supply is limited so grab one while supplies last!
