I just heard chances of rain is decreasing!!!! Shoot!!!

It's hard being a grass farmer with no rain. I have fed hay all summer to slow the grazing down. Pastures are grazed lower and longer than I like but I'm riding on mother nature's coat tail.

Regenerative farming for grass and Regenerative ranching for beef and pork!!

I’ve been busy today! I made a few jars of Peach Pecan Bourbon using store-bought ingredients, but we have a pecan tree and red maple trees here on the farm. 🌳🍑🥃

Now it’s time to do some research on how to tap a maple tree for syrup. (Looking at Mr. Swayback 👀😂) Maybe next year we’ll be making our own maple syrup!

I also made Pho broth for the first time using Swayback Branch Family Farm soup bones. It’s a long process, so I’ll give you an update tomorrow and let you know how it turned out. 🍜

And maybe Mr. Swayback will share his pictures of the Peach Pecan Bourbon! 📸

Decided to play around with some video editing today. I'm keeping my town job because I'm not a content creator just yet!!!

Take a look at the aerial view of the farm. It shows a few areas where I'm doing some hack n sq**rt timber stand clearing for silvopasture and also bale grazing in a clear cutover that I'm building.

The one thing about this farm is that it's a project and we started from 90% clear cutover timber property. So what you see is all gravy for me!!
