SOOOO, we’re clearing some freezer space and doing something we never do....

Today ONLY get 5 packages (approx. 5 lbs total) of our premium, heritage ground pork for just $25.

You are already dropping money on groceries; why not use it at a place that actually gives a damn?! Our WINTER FARM SHARE for 2026/2027 are on their final days of enrollment. I get it; you think it is wild that we are marketing a membership that is months ahead but in reality much of the food that goes into those shares is already in the field or slated for hand-sowing in the greenhouses.

It is no secret, prices are climbing but they do not have to. Locking in your groceries with the purchase of a traditional farm share at a local farm locks in your grocery bill and you reap the rewards of overflowing harvest featuring fresh eggs, staple meat cuts, fresh greens, root crops and local highlights along the way.

Plunk. Plunk. Plunk. into the quarts as we work our way down the brimming rows of strawberries. At 8am, we've hit mid-morning in the field (Farmer time) and like clockwork, the kids come running. Plunk, Plunk, YAP Squeal YAP Squeal YAP, "MOMMMMMMM"!! Children and puppy running full force down the rows to see Mom.

I smile, call out goodmorning, wait for my secondary hug, and help each pick a qt to take with them to school as Tito nuzzles and licks my dirt and sweat covered face.

Swig of water, back into the rows. Plunk, Plunk, Plunk... "Thank youuuuu!" they hollar behind them as they rush back down to the farmstand, faces completely covered in juice, puppy on their heels, farming in their hearts.

Nothing like a morning here at the farm.

It was Lemon Cucumber seeding day! I walked my tired body up the stairs to my office; gathered my seed bag, a knife and a yard ruler from my Seed Rack. They were destined for "The Pond Field" and they would absolutely not be as good if we did not seed them the old fashioned way in "hills."

Lemon Cucumbers are one of my absolute favorites; an Heirloom Variety that is such a special treat in the peak of summer.

I swigged a water and dashed down the stairs. My taxi ride to the field should be there by now. As I walked out the door, she was buzzing up the gravel road; knowing I was next on the list for field departure. She is five now, so she is officially "Field Chauffeur."

I loaded up my tools and we rolled out to The Back 40. As we were cruising, she said, "Mom, aren't all the flowers so beautiful?" The fields have always been lush with some misplaced flowers and tractor paths dotted with natives. It has been that way all my life; in fact, I enjoy picking them and making simple bouquets for my kitchen counter. But she was right, the gravel path was lined with beautiful native blooms.

We pulled up to the field. She was excited to be working in this one because it abuts The Pond. A little help here, a little help there and she could probably sneak off to hunt frogs. She helped for a few minutes before running down the row....
"MOM! Look at the field of blue a flowers! Come see!"

I love blue. These beautiful "Blued Eyed Grass" have *Always* been here. I have noticed them all of my life but today these native wildflowers were extra special.

This Farm has a special ecosystem. It may not have perfectly tilled fields nor burned-down rows with fresh herbicide nor perfectly square blocks of crops; it instead is just a rustic place, filled with rustic things, growing rustic varieties and truly working alongside nature while it cultivates food like it always has.

Sparkle Berries | a true vintage variety at 60 years old 🍓 | Limited Harvest

Available today alongside their classic field sibling varieties.

This strawberry is a Theodoros Family favorite and for good reason. Grown for flavor and not for shelf life, this "Eat Now Berry" is like biting into a spoon of strawberry jam, drizzled with honey and is sure to be a special treat. Hand picked by us this morning and on the counters in their own display.

Shout Out to our Team Member who began work at 4:45a and worked alongside the rising sun, crisp morning air and rain-soaked upper Berry Field to hand-pick and hand-pack cases of 🍓 Strawberries 🍓 for our Friends at Dirigible Brewing Company where they will turn these precious gems into their special and limited seasonal beer.

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!
Our Berry Pickin' Crew arrived to work with the rising sun and the berries are a-poppin' ~ today we will have a light harvest as the fields will rest after some much-needed rainfall.
Berries will be up from the field around 9:30 this morning and will be on counters until sold out.

Our Farm is harvesting some incredible summer crops now with more joining the harvest every week!

Donna from Cape Ann Fresh Catch is here until 2pm today! While we watched the sunrise from the strawberry fields, they were out on the coast working DIRECTLY with local fishermen in the Gloucester area to bring you the freshest catch of the day. Farmers and Fishermen, where would be without them? Dinner hour hurry up! I'm hungry and those scallops are calling my name!!

SCALLOPS -- so sweet, like you have never had before

Nothing like a fresh picked strawberry to cut the Friday afternoon drag. We have QUARTS and PINTS of our homegrown strawberries available in the FarmStand this afternoon! (Aside from the 8 Quarts one customer drove up from Connecticut for, those are going in her dessert tonight!). Picked fresh this morning with the sunrise. OPEN UNTIL 7PM!
