Uncle Tom Haytamiya once told me a valuable lesson : He said Young Ernie, you do not need Fancy equipment to farm; you just need equipment that works for the task and you-as an operator-you need to keep your ass in the seat until the job is done.  😉

Whether he’s on the field or in the orchard, partner and .collegefootball Defensive Coordinator, knows that a championship season starts with a solid foundation. Pruning is a lot like coaching a defense; it’s about making the right decisions, cutting out the “noise” that drains energy, and positioning every branch for maximum growth. Just as regenerative farming restores the land to its full potential, he’s spending this off-season meticulously preparing the ground and the trees for a dominant harvest. It’s all about discipline and precision as he readies “The Empire” for their next campaign. When you build from the roots up—whether it’s soil health or a defensive line—the results speak for themselves. 🍑🏈 Precision in the winter means a victory in the fall. Who else is getting ready for a big season?

🍑 The Perfect Cut for a Fruitful Future
Yes, it’s that time of year again! ❄️ High up on the ladders, we are officially pruning our peach orchards here at Ernest Farms.
In regenerative farming, every cut is intentional. We aren’t just tidying up; we are:
• Prioritizing Tree Health: Removing old wood to allow for better airflow and sunlight.
• Setting the Stage: Balancing the tree’s energy so it can focus on growing the most delicious, nutrient-dense peaches this summer.
• Investing in Longevity: Pruning now ensures our orchard stays vibrant and productive for years to come.
It’s cold work, but seeing the architecture of a healthy tree makes it all worth it. We can’t wait for you to taste the results!
