From October 21–22, the Advanced CHLOREP Training brought the energy of real-world emergency response to Tarrant County College’s Fire Service Training Center in Fort Worth, TX. The training consisted of twenty-three students from across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, accompanied by seven CI Instructors.
Participants rotated between classroom discussions and field exercises — tackling real case studies and gaining hands-on experience with specialized chlorine response equipment. Training stations included:
- Transfer & Pumping Operations
- Educators & Jet Pumps
- Pressure Plate Leak Mitigation
- Drilling, Tapping & Welding
One highlight? Working with the CI-developed chlorine transfer pump — designed to safely move chlorine from a breached rail car. A few participants even got the rare chance to weld the bottom of a tank car prop — talk about hands-on!
👏 Special thanks to United Professional Services and Specialized Response Solutions for providing crucial training resources — and to all our incredible instructors for sharing their time and expertise.
