💚 Happy National Boss Day to ME! 🧡
Today, I’m not just celebrating being a business owner. I’m celebrating the woman who had the courage to believe in a vision that only God could see before it became a reality. 🙏🏽 Being a boss is so much more than having your name on a business. It’s the sacrifices nobody sees, the sleepless nights, the tears you wipe away before opening the doors, the responsibilities you carry, and the strength it takes to keep showing up when everything in you feels exhausted. There have been days I’ve questioned myself, days I’ve felt overwhelmed, and days when the weight of entrepreneurship felt heavier than I ever imagined. But through it all, GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL! Green Fork Kitchen is more than a restaurant to me. It’s a dream, a testimony, and a reminder that faith without works is dead. I didn't come this far because everything was easy. I came this far because I refused to give up on what God placed in my heart. 'm learning that being a boss doesn't mean having everything figured out. It means being willing to grow, make difficult decisions, learn from mistakes, and keep going even when the journey looks nothing like you imagined.
To every employee who has been part of this journey and every customer who has walked through our doors, supported us, shared a post, offered encouragement, or simply believed in what we're building, THANK YOU! You are part of this testimony. 💚 Today, I give myself grace. I give myself credit. And most importantly, I give GOD the glory! I'm proud of the woman I'm becoming, not just the business I'm building. I'm not where I want to be, but thank God I'm not where I started. And I truly believe the best is yet to come! 🧡
