Shepherds! The trip to Bucks County Fur Products has been delayed a week. We will be going down July 2-4. The temporary housing we are in has a showing this Saturday. Maybe, sometime, normal life will resume. Sorry for the delay.

Hello Shepherds! It is time for the next trip to Bucks County Fur Products. The pelts dropped off this winter should be done in another week. We will be leaving on June 25th. Please message me if you have pelts to go down so I can tell you where to drop them off. Same as always, $10 a pelt round trip.

Ya know, sometimes, life is just not fair. Not only has the landlord just told us he’s filing eviction paperwork tomorrow, but we found out early this morning that one of Patty’s brothers died last night. It’s getting very difficult to have a positive outlook on anything.

With the lovely weather coming in this weekend, pasture work has been delayed till next weekend. We’re going to work in the garage this weekend. Any good packers out there are welcome to join us!

Almost done! Can anyone help me out this Sunday? I have a bit more wire to pull then to use the tractor and pull the wood posts out of the ground. The landlord is hassling us. How many farmers can pull out of their farm in 10 weeks? For the most part, by themselves? This is ridiculous.

Did you know that farmers are 3.5 times more likely to commit su***de than the regular public? The loss of the farm and money problems can be very depressing. I’m lucky. I got on antidepressants a month ago. It is unbelievably hard to get through this. I am grateful to my wife and friends. If you know other farmers going through this, please share these numbers with them.

I cannot thank Ann, Tami, Owen, and Stan for coming out and helping us this weekend get most of the pasture fence picked up. Still have a lot to do but, wow! Back to inside packing during rainy days. Hopefully, I can get the posts out of the ground next weekend.

I never ask for help from our followers here at the farm, but I am pretty desperate. This Saturday, 10am, I will be out in the pasture pulling fences. I have the tractor and the tools to make it easy but I need more help. We have less than 2 weeks to get out and still packing out the house, too.
