At Las Positas Vineyards we believe that the Livermore Valley terroir produces extraordinary wines that are true to the varietal grape with depth and complexity. This belief is embedded in the rich history of the valley where wine grapes have been growing since the early 1840’s and producing some of the world’s most prestigious wines since the 1880’s. Our family proudly tends to the soil and vines

in order to create our version of the finest that the Livermore Valley has to offer. The temperate micro-climate and gravelly soil helps our grapes reach optimum ripeness.

Aged for 30 months in French oak, our 2023 Estate Reserve Sangiovese is full and complex, with notes of Bing cherry, blackberry, plum, and spice. It’s especially delicious alongside lasagna, beef stew, or filet mignon.
