This is a post we've been dreading to write and publish.

But we have to, and it's time.

Van Hassler Brewing is going to close.

We've had a crazy journey. And while we knew there would be unknown obstacles and hurdles along the way, we've been hit with just too many. So it's time to pull back and regroup.

Is this the end of Van Hassler Brewing? We don't think so. We still have an immense passion for our craft, and a love for the community that it brought together.

It's almost Spring! A time of change, regrowth and renewal. We sincerely hope that whomever takes over this building stays true to the idea of a positive gathering space for the people of this neighborhood.

Now before I start crying about how much I'll miss everyone, here's the practical information:

Last day: Sunday March 15th

Fire Sale: as of right now, we're having a fire sale on all drinks. Pints are $5 in cash, $6 for credit. Cans are included.

Stein Club Members: check your emails or come in for your compensation for cutting the year in half.

No need to leave your buddy in the car anymore! We have decided that focusing on beer is more important, so we have CLOSED our kitchen.

What does that mean? It means you are now welcome to bring in outside food! And dogs! 🍕🐕

If you've had a long day of not working today, we would love to invite you in to have a cold beer with friends!

Also, we are inviting you in for our last weekend of wings! As of Monday our kitchen will be CLOSED until further notice. Currently we will be focused on beer and will revisit our kitchen at a later date.

But that means come Monday, PLEASE bring in your dogs! We haven't been able to pet a brewery dog in two years! 🐕
