Sired by 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚 ($8+ million PE, $177,900 LTE) out of a money earning mare by 𝐈𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬 ($6.5 million PE, $514,757 LTE).
This mare is the epitome of grit, speed, agility, and attitude. She would be the ULTIMATE youth rodeo mount with a little finishing. And I do mean a little. She is broke to the hilt and has all the pieces.
Her barn name has been 𝙻𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝙱*𝚝𝚌𝚑 since the day she arrived. Now, don’t let that scare you away, she is the SWEETEST around kids and I have plenty of videos showing how safe she is, but, if you are not a little kid, she will pin her ears at you, give you the meanest looking mare stare, or just downright ignore you when she doesn’t want to be bothered with peasant humans. She gives off THE queen energy💅🏻👸🏼if you know what I mean. We all know the best horses all have their quirks, and she does. Believe me, she makes up for them. She loves to work hard, and she thrives in a program that not only challenges her physically, but mentally as well.
We have had this mare since she was a weanling, and she has been with us ever since. She’s made the trip from Texas to Pennsylvania twice, and all over the place in between. She ships like a pro on short or long hauls. We can tell you absolutely everything there is to know about her and answer any question you may have. This horse has been carefully developed and handled since she was just a baby. She is sound, sane, and up to date on everything. LB has been our “do it all” horse and never says no to trying something new. From roping, to sorting, to trail riding, to jumping, to barrel racing and pole bending, she is not “finished” in any one area, but shows much promise in many. The one phrase that comes to mind any time someone asks me what we use her for is, “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” Ultimately, she is BROKE, and can quite literally be finished in whatever direction you’d want to take her in. She appreciates an educated, soft hand, and moves very nicely off your legs. She’s soft and supple, rides bridleless, and has a great stop and slow spin. She has more of a cutting foundation, but again, she does it all.
She stands for the vet and farrier, is UTD on shots, coggins, gets her teeth done twice a year, and just got a new set of front shoes yesterday.
