The hens aren’t big fans of these temperatures. Can’t say I blame them!🥶For a good portion of late autumn and winter their production lessens as days shorten. This break allows their systems to reset and conserve energy. As daylight increases they slowly start laying again. This usually happens the second or third week in February. By March they’re back in full swing 🥚🍳
