And then there's this. The lavender hill is at early peak bloom. It's a little walk (about 1/2 mile) from the festival area. You might find some of the first ripe blackberries as a bonus.

Looks like this Barn Owl family even settled for this fixer upper. After nesting season we'll climb up there to clean it out and tighten it up.
If you come to the farm this weekend, we'll check for owl pellets on the ground below.

Jason Marshall is back this year. He will be leading bird walks on Saturday at 9:30am, and Sunday at 7am (a good reason to camp) and at 9:30 am.
Bring your binoculars and a good ear.

No entry fee today.

There are nuts, herbs, local honey, and Agua Fresca made from farm fruits and honey.
