Say hello to Patches, our boar. He is a Duroc/Berkshire (50/50) hybrid, which is the same cross as Pete. He's almost a year old, and so far has shown us the right mixture of breeding vigor and approachable temperament that we need from him.

Today we said goodbye to our friend Alf. He has moved to a good home nearby, so we can visit when we want. Sometimes animals are not a good fit. It’s sad, but it happens. What’s good is when you do find a better place for them. So long Alfie. We’ll miss you. 🫏 💙
