Our ranch is located in the Piney Woods of deep East Texas, hemmed in by the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation and Big Thicket National Forrest Preserve. Our herd has been in the family for four generations, with some of our cattle tracing their roots back to those shepherded by Dennis Smith. Joe Gulley, Sr., recognized the value of the current geographic location of the ranch, and began purchasing some of land on which RCC currently operates in the mid-1900's. In 2005, Doc Joe and Joe III formed Ruby Cattle Company, LLC, to carry on the family ranching business with the goal of it becoming self-sustaining. Through the years, each generation has increased the quality of the herd in different respects, but always with a focus on good maternal qualities. Early in the process, we discovered the superior characteristics of the Angus breed, and have primarily developed those ever since. We consistently strive to improve our herd, and are blessed to be able to say every year, "this is our best group of calves yet!"

With one candle, your whole room smells like a Texas spring morning tangled up with a soft summer night. Messner Bee Farm's Wildest Dreams candle layers raspberry blossoms with sweet, ripe berries for something that feels fresh without being overly sweet.

Each one is hand-poured with a cotton wick and a blend of soy, coconut, and beeswax, finished with natural artisan fragrance oils. Trim the wick to about an eighth of an inch before you light it, and let it burn for at least two hours the first time around for the best, longest burn.
