The first ride...Bullet (Iron Natives second foal) is learning to be more confident so I videoed from inside - didn't want to distract him on this lesson🥰 Shawna's boy is making good progress. The heat kinda slowed everything down for a bit but now that Will's fair time is over, the pair are moving along💕

Another gelding, Chex Marked Ekalaka, started many moons ago by Lorna Marie Sheridan - first ride since years ago. Great starts and good minds and William had him going both directions and a nice easy back. He will need more miles but this big fella has a great mind💕

2026 Sweet Grass County Fair Horse Show.
William and equine companions Chex Marked Kootenai (Koot) & project K'Liga (a pretty flea bitten grey) did well today. Had horse fly problems with K'Liga in Green Horse but Will was granted a re-ride and stepped back on and they received a purple! Koot experienced his own fly problem but shook it off with a few hops and Will and Koot received purple too. Great morning in the cheering gallery🥰

Tried to post the album but can not find it so these could be duplicated😳. Moved Orion (the chestnut) down to the bottom to graze off tall grass and then I introduced him to Dakota so they can buddy up. Both boys were very good for Roger and led like champs🧡

Brought the mares into the arena today to check for interest in visiting Native but the "no see'ums" were tormenting them.
