I think local grocery store prices are around $16-$17 per pound but still much higher than what you’re paying from me or any other local person raising rabbits. Please consider this the next time you’re inquiring on pricing from someone. Most or nearly all are doing it for the enjoyment and benefit of raising our own food. Most like me are quite pleased to simply have them pay for themselves and rarely making much extra. The cost of feed continues to rise and makes it harder and harder for producers like me to continue and when we are all out of it you will miss paying what local producers were charging I promise or you won’t eat it.
