Aquaponic Farm Montana Roots is an aquaponic farm in Livingston Montana.

We strive to create thriving, resilient communities by providing:
• Local, year-round food with regenerative agriculture
• Community education on resiliency and sustainability
• Youth empowerment programs that provide experiential learning in the areas of; environmental stewardship, permaculture, wilderness-skills, and personal development.

At this time of year the life cycle of these red cabbage micros is about 15 days

Growing without nutrient input or supplemental light means seeding dates change every month and often times more! By flowing with Montana’s wild seasons I can keep our harvest and delivery days consistent. Fresh micros, right on schedule!

Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and building a vibrant local food community? Montana Roots is looking for an enthusiastic part-time team member to join us for September and October—potential to stay on longer or grow your role if it’s a great fit!

- Flexible hours: 1–3 hours per day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

- Assist with essential greenhouse tasks: seeding, watering, feeding fish and monitoring plant health
