Another weekend & last show of the year! We hit up Goat to Be Kidding buck show yesterday & while we didn’t bring home any big ribbons these 2 boys held their own against some very nice bucks! We had a great time and look forward to coming back to this show next year. The little tricolor buckling pictured is available for a new herd, message for info!

We have made the difficult decision to get out of KuneKune pigs to focus on our goats. This unregistered breeding trio will be available for new pasture. 3 year old boar & sow, have had 3 litters with us as a breeding pair. Will go with an unrelated gilt that will be a year old this fall. All are friendly, easy going. Kids run around them even with piglets and they are all quiet natured as can be. Please message for information. Loami, IL

Great time at the Illinois State Fair Dairy Goat Show!! We are absolutely thrilled to say our girls brought home both Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Junior Nigerian does! Our first champion ribbons & with our homebred doelings! Other highlights include Tulip, our 2 year old milking doe second out of 7 & our little guy Weston won the costume class with our very patient Nubian Watermelon! Huge thank you to the judge & all of the wonderful people that help put on the show. We have felt so welcome at all the shows we’ve been to this year. Learning a lot & getting to know others in the industry!

Another weekend another show! The yearlings were not fans of being drug to the show, but our 2 milkers and our little recorded grade intermediate kid did great. Our 3 year old got to show his favorite goat Watermelon the Nubian and we got some more experience against some very nice other goats! We really appreciate the friendly and educational environment we’ve found at these ADGA shows and are excited to grow & continue.

We had a great time at the Sangamon County 4-H goat show this past weekend! It was some tough competition but our little Nigerians (and one baby Nubian) held their own against some very nice standard size goats! Mason did a great job showing and we got some good feedback from the judge. We love seeing these kids do what they love, and met some very nice people there too!

We had a great time at the Ford County Fair, our first time showing milking does! We came home with 2 fifth places but learned so much! Our goal for this show was to jump in & learn how to improve, and we got an idea of things we need to do differently to help our goats thrive & show their best selves. Have to start somewhere, looking forward to more shows this year!
