Volunteer Request (Monday, Aug 31) - need assistance harvesting dry beans. Your role would be to sit back in a chair and pull the beans off the plant and place them in a bin. Bring a friend 😄 Stay as long as you like. Take home some vegetables before you leave. Looking to start at 11 a.m. Please message me and let me know if you can come out and what time you can make it.

Lots of onions on the farm stand, sweet onions, red onions (storage onions) and a yellow storage onion, called Patterson. Our storage onions, properly stored will stay good for 8 months to a year.

This is the year of the purple bean. Spoiler alert… They turn green when cooked. Disappointing but they taste just as delicious as any green beans. As I mentioned before the deer got to my green beans, so I’m not gonna have many if any, but fortuitously I seeded a lot of extra purple beans this year. You’ll see them at the farm store for the foreseeable future, most likely until the first frost..

Please to try to go out and check out this new small business in Moravia, even if it is just to go by and say hello to the owners. Trust me when I say all new businesses can use your encouragement. So many of you have stopped by our farm and provided us encouragement, and we take your words to heart and it makes a difference.

Lots of paste tomatoes. If you would like to purchase by the peck for canning, please text Jeffrey at 607-592-5810 and he will coordinate it with you. If you want a peck for eating, we can harvest at various ripeness and you can eat from them for a month...unless you eat as many as we do this time of year 😁

I got a late start on getting beans into the ground, and the deer have taken out most of my green beans, but we started harvesting yellow and purple beans today. 4 bags on at the farm store in the refrigerator. More to come now that they are producing.

Salmonella free Jalapenos! 😁Any many more where these came from, which is Centurion Farm in Locke. They are on the farm store porch. If you want a bulk order for salsa, cowboy candy, or whatever you use them for, let us know.
