Welcome to the farm where chickens are happy livin' life outside the way they should! We are a family owned and operated, pasture-raised egg farm in Lockhart, TX. We started in 2010 and to say the least... it has been quite an adventure. We began with 2200 hens in mobile coops with mobile fences moving the whole set up biweekly. Over the years we have converted to stationary housing while still ke

eping small flocks of 500 using rotational access to pasture. The house has fans to battle the Texas summer heat and offers protection from all other elements. For us, the change to stationary housing has proved to be more humane allowing the hens to forage all day at their leisure yet have sanctuary with plenty of space when needed. We hand feed, hand gather eggs, only deal locally, and are a top rated egg farm by The Cornucopia Institute.
