---- TPWD EXTENDS DOE DAYS ----
For select counties, caldwell included, Texas parks and wildlife has alloted an extention to the annual doe harvest. Hunters in these counties are once again allowed to harvest 2 antlerless whitetail during general rifle season. These new "doe days" will begin on the second Saturday of general rifle season and extend until the Sunday following Thanksgiving, totally 16 days, as opposed the the previous 4 day allotment. Bag limits are established by county. No person may exceed the annual bag limit of five white-tailed deer, no more than three of which may be bucks. The annual bag limit does not apply on MLDP properties.
