Good afternoon! We just wanted to share a few words about our coming New Year's Eve / launch party, and give a little insight into *why* we're doing what we're doing, because it's important to us that our supporters know what we're about, and what they're supporting. Okay, it might be a little more than a few words, though. Nobody's ever accused me of being short-winded.
We want this party to be a hit. We want impact. We want this to be the catalyst for a Menagerie Ball to be held every year. Our goal is not to just fill this party with a bunch of people we don't know, though, because as much as we want to get the word out, our intention is to start a professional relationship with you, the people we already care about in our personal lives. We want you here because we like you.
With all of that being said, however, we would love it if you brought people that you cared about! Bring friends or family, husbands or wives, lovers or those you love otherwise, because just as much as this party is about us, this party is about you. Our intention with Menagerie puts community and collaboration at the forefront with our coffee.
Just as much as we want to be involved with our community, we want our community involved with us. We want you to feel welcome involving the people you care about with us.
We can make coffee fun, that's not a concern for us at all. That's our business. The effort and challenge comes in our desire to collaborate with the communities around us, and bring that joy into your lives. We can't do that just through selling beans, though.
We have to be proactive and we have to get you to believe in us, enough so that you want to involve us in your lives. This is a relationship, and we want to do all of the work. We want you to want to spend your New Year's Eve with us. We want you to feel the connection to us, and we want you to let us share our joy.
We're not just another coffee company out to sell you product. We aren't just a roaster. This isn't some elaborate business model out to trick anybody into having some carefully crafted image of us. We just want to be your liaison, your community ambassador, and coffee is our medium.
We know this sounds a bit vague: are we a catering company that only provides coffee? What *is* your business model? Do you still sell coffee? And they're valid questions.
The simplest answer is that we aren't specifically any of these things, we're a company that will do whatever we can to bring our joy into whatever situation you want us to. Morning cups of coffee? We have beans. Events? We'll set up a booth and keep your guests caffeinated and smiling. We're pretty funny guys. Do you have a business that needs an affordable, reliable, and quality source of coffee? Work with us, and we'll work with you.
When you support us, you aren't just saying that you like our beans. You're supporting the ideas that we believe and promote, and you're supporting a couple of guys that want to bring some joy into the lives of the communities we care about. A couple of guys who want to support the people and businesses that *we* believe in.
This is why we want you to join us this December 31st. This is why it means so much that Incitaticus Roboticus is playing. That our friends have rallied together to help us plan this shindig. That we have the blessing to host this event. And most importantly, that our amazing friend Sam Wilder has welcomed us with loving arms into his building, the Positive Center of Lockland, OH.
We couldn't possibly be more excited to set sail with this new heading, and we couldn't possibly be more grateful for your support. From the bottom of our hearts, we at Menagerie thank you!
